Pet Remedy Boredom Buster Foraging Kit

I’ve been using the Pet Remedy Boredom Buster Foraging Kit for a few months now, and it’s been a fantastic tool for keeping my dogs mentally stimulated. Unlike a traditional snuffle mat, which my dogs tend to flip over or even chew on, this foraging kit really challenges them to use their noses and brains. The design makes it harder for them to ‘cheat’ and get the treats out too easily, which I appreciate.

One thing to note is the included bottle of calming spray. My dogs didn’t like it at all. The first time I used it, neither dog showed any interest in the forager, even though I filled it with their favourite treats. However, when I left the spray off in subsequent uses, they were immediately engaged and spent plenty of time sniffing, rooting, and enjoying their treats.

I would recommend the Forager Kit to anyone whose dog doesn’t do well with traditional snuffle mats, particularly if they tend to eat the mat or dump the treats out by flipping it over. However, I suggest starting without the spray so your dog has the best chance of understanding the game. If you do want to introduce the spray, try using a small amount on just one end of the forager to see how your dog reacts.

Overall, it’s a great product for adding some mental stimulation to your dog’s routine!
