Tickless Mini Dog

There had been a large increase in the number of tick infestations judging by the comments made on my local social media groups.

Unfortunately Hudson is fond of chasing squirrels in the park into the long grass and undergrowth which is where ticks wait for an unsuspecting victim to pass by. I have been relying on the flea and tick treatment which I buy monthly from the vet, so thought hudson was protected, but a few weeks ago a tick managed to attach itself to his snout.

I have therefore been on the lookout for a better treatment and came across the timeless mini.

The device emits an ultrasonic pulse that disturbs fleas and ticks to prevent them attaching themselves.

It is easily attached to hudsons collar, and is rechargeable. Rather than detaching the device itself, I remove hudsons collar and charge it up overnight. Each charge lasts about 2 weeks.

Hudson enjoys chasing a frisbee when his nor chasing squirrels, and will explore overgrown areas. Despite his best efforts the timeless mini has remained firmly attached to his collar in exactly the same place I first fitted it.

It is difficult to know whether it is any better than the treatment I have been buying from the vet, as it is a preventative device, and I’ll only know if it’s not working if Hudson collects another tick. However, so far so good.

It does have the advantage though of avoiding the costly monthly vets fees. After the initial outlay there is no further cost.
