Haslam Park – Coming Soon

Walk meeting point:

Haslam Park sits alongside the Lancaster Canal and still boasts many of its original and unique features from when it was first built. The park’s ornate Grade II listed gates at two of its main entrances are just some of the features that make this Edwardian park stand out from the rest.

Every year since 2006 the park has proudly flown its Green Flag, with the area to the north of the park becoming Haslam Park Nature Reserve. Combine the park’s nature reserve with its multiple footpaths and paths joining the Lancaster Canal, and you have a day out of diverse scenery and peaceful walks.

Within the park you can also enjoy a picturesque stroll down the lime tree avenue, pass some time in the rose and sensory gardens, admire the old drinking fountain, and reflect by the brook or ornamental lake.

Alternatively, if you’re after somewhere to expel some energy, the park offers many different games areas, large open green spaces, and a children’s play area. You’ll also find the park easy to locate by car and public transport, making it the perfect day out for families or those wishing to reflect.
