Whin Park – Coming Soon

Walk meeting point:

Amongst it’s other delights, Whin Park boasts 4 separate adventure play areas within it’s confines and the fun physical play equipment includes zip lines, cool crashed plane feature and climbing structures with slides, plus plenty more little features besides.

It’s a great selection ideal for kids 3 to 10 (isn!) with good visibility all round if they’re big enough to want to leave you and get stuck in alone. There is also an adult sized trim trail with grown up versions of assault course style equipment which is ideal for active grown up and well sized for teenagers who just want in on the fun! No reason for everyone not to get some exercise, so dress the part!

Elsewhere in the park you can visit the ducks in the boating pond (take a model boat along if you have one!) or catch the train from the Ness Islands narrow gauge railway: the most northerly one of it’s kind in the country! Plus with plenty of loos, shops and toilets you’re well catered for to take even the more demanding ones along. Yes, dad, that’s you! (We jest.)

There’s also a toddler oriented Whinter Wonderland feature every December, that’s apparently free to attend and has won several awards! Bonus!
